“My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.” — 1 John 2:1 – 2
Each one of us is patterned according to God’s design. Each one of us an individual. Each one of us unique.
In his address to the saints in Christ Jesus at Philippi, the Apostle Paul, warning them said,
“Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the mutilation! For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.” — Philippians 3:2 & 3
Our foundation in Christ, is by necessity, always, the starting point of our lives.
Our flesh and fleshly desires always have the desire to rule. But God’s word, the Bible, clearly says, “for sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.” – Romans 6:14
When partaking of the Passover feast with His disciples on the night that He was betrayed, Jesus took the cup saying, “For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins”
— Matthew 26:28.
“Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” – Matthew 17:20
Salvation is an every-day experience.
Forgiveness, is a miraculous, every-day experience, because we continue to sin.
Salvation and forgiveness are never to be taken for granted.
When Christ came into the world, He said, “Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but a body You prepared for Me; with burnt offerings and sin offerings You were not pleased. Then I said, ‘Here I am—it is written about Me in the scroll— I have come to do Your will, My God.”
