Life ministries is a practical, Biblically based prophetic teaching ministry, encouraging and equipping every believer in Christ to understand and actively pursue the will of God for their lives.

Discovering that God is a personal God who longs for an intimate relationship with each one of us and who has a personal plan for each of our lives, is the most exciting thing we will ever come to know and experience. God has already made the way for us to come to know Him, through the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, that He shed for us on the cross. All we have to do to begin a relationship with Christ, is to believe in Him and receive Him. Jesus said of Himself, “I tell you the truth, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.”  ~ John 5:24

Karen has been a practicing believer in Christ Jesus for over 50 years and currently lives in New Zealand with her husband Malcolm. Together they have raised three grown children.

Karen is a creative writer who has a passion for the prophetic, for encouraging the Body of Christ, and for teaching the truth of God’s Word.

Life Ministries began its public representation of Christ in approximately 2016. This was some time after a much-loved minister of the word, Rodney Francis, came to teach and minister on the prophetic giftings at the Hastings Elim Church in New Zealand.

Pastor Rodney said to me, “I get something about you being a teacher? Why don’t you start writing down some of the stuff the Lord gives you? You never know where it might lead to.”

I confided in Rodney, that I was in fact a teacher (of God’s word) and that under my bed was a box of ministry material I had written but had never had the opportunity to use. Although I was already prophesying successfully in our local church and had been teaching in small groups for many years, Rodney did not know me, so of course he had no knowledge of this at that time, or that I was strongly desirous for something more due to the known call of God on my life.

Rodney then gave me the rarest of invitations. “Why don’t you send some of what you are writing to us and we’ll see if we can use it.”

And so began a wonderful partnership with the Gospel Faith Messenger Ministry. It was through Rodney personally, that I then had the privilege of sharing with pastors and apostolic leaders across the nations. Some of whom I still maintain contact with today.

It was not long after Rodney’s invitation that the Lord began to give me article after article, as a fresh wind began to blow and God’s anointing began to increase upon my writing. The first article I shared with Rodney that he was then able to use, was, “The Anointing of God and Prophetic Vision.” God had already laid it upon my heart to start my own ‘not for profit’ website and in keeping with Rodney’s vision, that we are to trust the Lord always, to provide for our needs, it was with His encouragement that I was then able to step out in faith to do this.

Rodney became my much-loved father in the faith and on the 25th of May 2015, at a gfm prophetic camp at Stoney Creek Ranch in the Hawkes Bay, Rodney again prophesied over me, saying, “God is raising you up to be a prophetess.”

Through his mentoring, Rodney blessed and encouraged me many times, sometimes through an impromptu article sent through by email (which of course had been prompted by God) and through his many Barnabas Bulletins. If I ever went to Rodney in confidence with a concern, he very seldomly ever gave me advice, but would always respond, “Keep looking unto Jesus. You will never go wrong for looking to Him.” Attached to his email would always be one or two of his articles to uplift and encourage me.

On the 17th of November 2021, Pastor Rodney went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ, His precious Lord and Saviour and lives in His presence today.

“How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!”      –  Romans 10:14 & 15.
