Many years ago, the Lord gave me a prophetic dream in which I was a recipient.
In this dream, I was traveling in a vehicle at speed along a motorway or highway. As we were traveling, to my horror, I saw a large swan, sitting with her baby signets, right in the middle of one of the lanes. Many of the cars who were traveling in front of us, began running over some of her signets and killing them, with the mother unable to stop them.
On seeing this, we frantically swerved away just in time, so thankfully did not end up hitting or killing any of them. I then turned around in the back seat of the car to look out of the rear window; in time to see that the poor swan had only two signets left alive. I immediately turned to the driver in front of me and asked, "please, can we go back and get them?" Referring to the remaining live swans.
Swans are seen as graceful creatures with their long, beautiful and graceful necks. The Lord showed me, that this dream was a picture of God’s grace being abused.
A grace filled heart is a Christ filled heart.
Love and compassion and mercy both.
God’s heart is to see the restoration of His offices protected correctly.
“But earnestly desire and strive for the greater gifts (if acquiring them is going to be your goal). And yet I will show you a still more excellent way (one of the choicest graces and the highest of them all: unselfish love).”
