The Cows Of Bashan Are Lowing

The word ‘Samaria’ comes from a primitive root word ‘shâmar’ meaning ‘to hedge about (as with thorns); i.e. guard; generally, to protect; attend to; preserve; reserve; save, watch(-man), watch station.’
Such is the work of the Lord for this nation. Amen Amen Amen.

I awoke to a short vivid dream this morning, where my dairy farmer friend was saying to me, “I’m really concerned about the state of these cows this morning!” The expression of extreme concern in her voice was extensive. When I awoke, knowing that this particular friend of mine in reality, had mentioned a few days earlier that they were looking for a leak in a waterpipe, I checked to see if they were o.k. She confirmed they had found the leak relatively easily and happily their cows were all fine.

But then, the word of the Lord came to me saying, “The cows of Bashan are lowing.”

I then went to the Scriptures, where the cows of Bashan are mentioned by the prophet Amos. The Lord then told me, this was a PEOPLE GROUP being addressing by the word of the Lord.

The word 'husbands' used in v 1 is translated ‘controller; lord; master; owner’ from an unused root word meaning ‘to rule.’ – These were evil warlords!

But the word ‘Samaria’ also comes from a primitive root word ‘shâmar’ meaning ‘to hedge about (as with thorns); i.e. guard; generally, to protect; attend to; preserve; reserve; save, watch(-man), watch station.’

The word ‘Harmon’ used in v 3, is translated ‘a palace; castle; high fortress, or a place or site unknown.’  — See Strong’s Concordance for the above translations.

The Lord then spoke to me again, saying, “This is significant to the Palestinian’s welfare being protected - He who hurts you hurts Me, says the Lord. God in His wisdom and mercy provides a way out. The way out comes through the peace of Christ in their hearts being repaired. Amen, Amen, Amen.”
